Welcome, and thank you for visiting Chrysalis Complementary Therapies. My name is Becca Wrigglesworth AoR.

My first experience with complimentary therapies was several years ago...

I took my husband to regular reflexology treatments at our local cancer care charity. One day I was offered a treatment, little did I know then that I would become a fully qualified reflexologist. After my husband passed away, I knew I needed to find myself again and forge a new life. After much thought and research I decided to train as a reflexologist having remembered the respite and normality it gave my husband all those years ago and also the benefits we both felt after our treatment sessions.

I am a full member of the Association Of Reflexologists, licensed with my local council and fully insured. I have also trained in Reflexology to support pregnancy, menopause and those living with cancer and other chronic illnesses and Crystal Chakraology. I am also qualified in LaStone Jade Therapy (Geo-Thermal Reflexology), Reiki II, Mian Dui Facial Ritual and Ear Candling.

I also offer FootLogix Medi Pedis and am a stockist of FootLogix products.

I have a welcoming home-based treatment room in Boreham, Essex. (Full address will be supplied on appointment confirmation)

Each treatment is devised to meet your individual needs, requirements and desired outcome. By taking a pre-treatment consultation, together we can create a treatment plan which will enhance the benefits you'll experience.

Each individual treatment session will be based on how you're presently feeling and what you'd like to achieve from the treatment.

My aim is for each of my clients to leave my treatment room, lighter, relaxed, calm, recharged and rebalanced.

Reflexology

The technique of applying pressure to reflex areas of the feet and hands which correspond to different areas, glands, organs and systems of the body. It brings about a state of relaxation which helps stimulate the body's own healing process.

It can also help to improve the immune system, provide relief from many symptoms, aid sleep improvement, create a stronger body and calmer mind bringing about a general state of well-being.

This specifically devised treatment helps women on their peri-menopausal and menopausal journeys. Helping to ease symptoms and support the body through times of transition.

Devised to help the mum-to-be through each trimester of her pregnancy. Easing symptoms experienced throughout the pregnancy and calming the hormones. Providing much needed relaxation and helping to prepare for birth. Support and treatment can then continue after baby has arrived.

This treatment uses a much lighter touch, combining linking and lymphatic drainage, aiming for a calming and nurturing outcome.

Crystal Chakraology

A beautiful, relaxing treatment to add realignment and unblocking of the body's Chakras whilst enhancing your personal energy flow. The treatment begins with a guided meditation, relaxing the body and mind whilst crystals are placed on the 7 upper body chakras and you setting your intention.

The reflexology commences using the traditional techniques applied by thumbs, fingers, and knuckles alongside the use of crystals. Focusing on the zones and meridians of the Chakra points on the feet. The properties from each of the crystals used enhance your treatment. After a lower leg and foot massage the crystals are removed whilst you bring your awareness back to your surroundings.

Mian Dui

A fabulous facial ritual, comprising of an uplifting facial massage, facial reflexology, facial & scalp acupressure, facial lymphatic drainage, Gua Sha facial massage, precision tool work and quartz mushroom stone massage. The treatment closes with the grounding of the body's four upper chakras.

This treatment nurtures the epidermis, dermis and underlying muscular/skeletal structure, provides and uplifted and glowing appearance to the skin, improving tightness of the facial muscles and collagen production.

LaStone Jade Therapy

(Geo Thermal Reflexology)

Using heated basalt massage stones and a variety of Jade stones, this treatment takes Reflexology to whole new level. It combines geothermal therapy and Infra-Red properties of Jade within a reflexology treatment.

There's so much to this unique treatment that it's best experienced to fully understand it's description.

Reiki

A healing energy treatment which creates a sense of deep relaxation. It works to unblock, calm and realign the body's chakras. It encourages and supports you in making positive personal choices, creating inner harmony, balance and a greater sense of well-being.

Ear Candling

Hollow ear candles are inserted into the opening of the ear and then lit. Acting as a chimney, they draw out impurities, excess earwax and foreign bodies. Known to help with other symptoms such as tinnitus, sinus pressure, headaches, swimmers ear and reduction in snoring, to name just a few.

Crystal ChakraFusion

A glorious alternative to tradition Indian Head Massage.Beginning with a guided relaxation whilst crystals are placed on the body's chakra points. The décolletage, arms and hands are gently massaged, followed by the shoulder line and neck. The face is the next focus, with massage, effleurage and lymphatic drainage. The gentle head massage then begins using a number of techniques to either stimulate or relax. We finally focus on the four upper chakras, removal of the crystals and breath work to close the treatment.

FootLogix Medi Pedi

This treatment is devised to be administered by those qualified in reflexology. It is a nurturing foot care treatment, which is suitable for diabetics.

After the initial foot examination, a foot soak and seaweed foot scrub follows. We then move to the couch where any hard skin or callouses are filed away for a more comfort. The cuticles and skin around the nails are neatened and the nails cut to a comfortable length and filed to smooth the edges.

Alternately, each lower leg and foot is massaged whilst the other foot sits in a warming bootie.

Foot Logix products are the world's first and only Pedicutical foot care line. It provides effective and transformational results to the skin, and nails of the feet.

Alongside Foot Logix I have trained with Duet Diabetes to provide footcare for those living with Diabetes.
